If I’m interested in performing, what is the process?

Applications for our 2024 Festival have officially closed as of January 15th, 2024. Keep an eye on applications for 2025.

What items are not permitted inside the festival?

For the safety of both festival patrons and our staff, we do not allow the following items:

Blankets or tarps

Strollers

iPads, laptops or tablets

Food or beverage

Selfie sticks, monopods or tripods

Bottles, flasks or cans

Coolers

Lawn chairs and cushions

Umbrellas (we recommend bringing a poncho)

Hula Hoops

GoPros

Recording devices, professional cameras, removable lenses and external lighting

Fireworks or flammable items/liquids

Aerosol sunscreen (lotion is permitted)

Candles

Laser pointers

Incendiary devices

Inline skates

Skateboards

Bicycles

Pets

Helmets

Bags or backpacks (please refer to our bag policy)

Carabiners

Any form of weapon, including knives, mace or pepper spray

Chains and wallet chains

Anything with spikes/studs on them (shoes, bracelets, rings, clothing, etc.)

Battery operated glow sticks, glow balls or ropes

Unlabeled medication or illegal drugs

Signs, flyers and totems

Confetti, streamers, glitter or balloons

Drones

Sticks, poles or sports equipment

Wrapped items or gifts

Inflatables

Masks (excluding those worn for protection against COVID-19)

Fidget spinners, Yo-yos or hacky sacks

Whistles, horns or noisemakers

Handbills or flyers

Stickers, markers, or paint

Some prohibited items can be requested by artists performing at the venue. Please contact us the day of the event you are attending if you have any questions about items you can bring to the venue. Prohbited items must be returned to your vehicle or discarded. Prohibited items will not be kept or stored on venue property. Anything placed outside of our gates or fence will be discarded or removed by authorities.

Stage AE reserves the right to deny drugs that are unlabeled, unidentifiable, in large quantities or for reasons otherwise cited by security/management.

Can I bring my dog/cat/turtle/bird?

Sorry, no animals outside of service animals are permitted on the grounds.

Are there rules about taking photos?

The camera policy is set by the artist. Generally, we prohibit professional cameras, recording devices, or external flash/lighting. Many artists will allow you to bring a disposable or small digital camera. If you have a question about the camera policy for a specific show, please contact us.

Is there an ATM on the grounds?

Yes, there is an ATM located inside Stage AE.

Can I exit and re-enter the festival?

All events at Stage AE have a “no re-entry” policy, which means once you enter, you cannot leave and re-enter. There are food and beverages available on-site, as well as an ATM.

Where is the box office located?

Our box office is located at Stage AE – 400 North Shore Drive, Pittsburgh PA

Where can I buy tickets?

You can purchase tickets HERE in advance, or at the main box office prior to Pride on the Shore. All tickets are subject to availability.

Where is the Pittsburgh Pride Parade?

The Pittsburgh Pride parade is run by a separate organization. Visit https://qburgh.com/pittsburgh-pride-parade/ for more info.

Can I bring my own backpack?

In order to ensure the safety of our patrons and to increase the efficiency of our entry procedure, Stage AE has implemented a bag policy to mirror the bag policy of the NFL. Only bags within 4.5 ”x 6.5” x 3” will be allowed into the venue for events. We will also allow one gallon or smaller clear plastic bags sized at or under 12”x12”x6”. e.g., Ziploc, NFL branded entry bags. Large bags such as (but not limited to) backpacks, purses, drawstring bags, totes, and carry-alls will not be allowed into the venue. As before, the contents of any bag allowed onto the premises will be inspected for prohibited items. Any prohibited items or bags must be taken back to your vehicle or disposed of. Stage AE or any affiliate will not be responsible for securing your personal items. Anything placed outside of our gates or fence will be discarded or removed by authorities.
